The best bang for your buck brake upgrade on the market
Replace old rubber hoses that can collapse and make the car pull when the brakes are applied (sound familiar?)
Tighten up brake feel with DOT approved hoses that do not swell under pressure
Larger bore bolt-in wheel cylinders refresh and improve the stopping power of the rear drums
Brand new, non-junkyard parts
*Replacing pads and shoes in poor condition at the time of this upgrade is highly recommended
Note: Some sources list the year GM changed housing flanges as 1988, if your housing flange is different than shown please use this kit
NOTE: Check the wrench size of your front flare nuts (nut on the hard line that connects to the front hoses) Some trucks were offered with 1/4 front hard lines with 7/16-24 or 1/2-20 flare nuts. The wrench size for both will be 9/16 instead of 1/2 for 3/8-24 flare nuts on 3/16 hard line
For 7/16-20 flare nuts, two Weatherhead PN 7828 adapters are needed for these applications to use this kit, available at most NAPAs.
For 1/2-20 flare nuts, two Brakequip BQ260 fittings will adapt the hose kit to your hardline
